What is a good SAT and/or ACT?
I have taken the SAT twice now and I'm about to take the ACT, but what is a good score for both? Is there at least a good score to get? #SAT #ACT #help #school #ihavenoideawhatimdoing

Hey Gina, don't worry! You're on track just by studying and taking the tests. I think a "good" score will vary based on your goals.
Here is a list of popular schools that you could go to with different SAT/ACT scores (https://www.niche.com/blog/the-most-popular-colleges-for-every-sat-score-range/) and you could look up more schools in your SAT range here (https://www.collegesimply.com/guides/colleges-by-test-score/).
Good luck!

Many colleges have their own guidelines for what they are looking for in ACT and SAT scores, so I would do further research on the colleges you want to attend. Also, many school only require the ACT or SAT, not both so after taking the ACT I would see which score is relatively better and only submit one or the other. If the scores are similar then I would submit both scores. As I was preparing for college I only took the ACT, based off descriptions of both test I knew the ACT would be the better test for me. That being said a 24-26 on the ACT can get you into about 75-80% of schools in the United States. I never took the SAT, but the national average is around 1050-1060 which I believe would get you into a decent amount of scores. Also, for many colleges the higher you score on SAT and ACT might earn you scholarship money.
