I don’t have a ton of great insight, but I can say that the Wind Ensemble Director at FSU, Rick Clary, was the Wind Ensemble Director at the University of Kentucky when I went to school there. He’s an excellent conductor, in my opinion. He always chose great repertoire.

Good luck!

I highly recommend FSU! I have been to both campuses several times and i went to FSU for College of Communication and loved it. I recommend visiting both campuses and even visiting the music schools and speaking with students. Good luck!
