Im also not in the skincare field, I work in customer service, I like working on technical issues, however if you don't like working with people I wouldn't recommend going into a customer facing type role. I find when you are working you need to bring and interest in a topic as well as training in a topic together. IE Im interested in working with people and technology

My sister is a dermatologist. She loves helping people look and feel better. Diagnosing and treating skin cancers is the most rewarding for her.

Hi Cass,

I'm not in dermatology but I hope this helps regardless :) I have 2 favourite things:

1. The people I work with - they're the reason I look forward to Monday's and they help get me through the tougher days when I'm stressed or under the pump;
2. The work itself - I really enjoy what I do (working in systems, planning and strategising) and the exciting parts are in the not-knowing because then I get to learn new things.

Hi Cass,

I'm not in dermatology but hope this helps;

1. People you work with, your line managers & colleagues, as I spend majority of my time with them. I know for a fact that they'll back me up if I encounter a challenge.

2. Meeting new people, learning, listening to their challenges and help them overcome those with our support.
