What are the best classes for becoming a diesel mechanic?

I am a junior in high school I have been looking into what it would take to become a certified diesel mechanic.

You can go to a vocational school like I did my Junior and Senior year of high school. In this vocational school I attended Diesel tech. This gave me a good base to learn from and then sets you up for a college path. There is a good amount of colleges that offer a diesel mechanic programs.

One can become a diesel mechanic by attending vocational school that specializes in auto mechanics. There are many in the US and abroad. One can also join the military and getting training on diesel engines of all kinds i.e. trucks, humvees, tanks and heavy equipment.
