Bri’s Answer

Hi,

If you’re talking about volunteering as an physical therapist some responsibilities maybe:

Assisting the therapists with treatment sessions
Accompany patients transporting themselves to the rehab gym
Stock linen cabinets in gym
Help maintain gym area
Get patients drinks, as requested by therapist
Perform clerical duties and running errands
Volunteers can provide assistance during treatments as asked for by the therapist, but may not have direct hands-on contact with patients

Samuel’s Answer

Greetings and salutations, Madeleine! My name is Samuel Colis Achiles. I am a recent graduate from California State University Dominguez Hills, with a Bachelor's degree on kinesiology. There are several different types of therapy that are administered in a myriad of different fields under differing circumstances. However, under the field of kinesiology, as for any other field, several of the main responsibilities of therapists would be diagnosis and treatment of physical and/or mental disorders. In addition, therapists are tasked with creating and implementing individualized treatment plans according to every individual patient's needs and circumstances. Therapists are also responsible for regularly meeting with patients and clients to provide counseling, treatment, or make adjustments to treatment plans if necessary, and regularly conducting continuous assessments of each patient/client's progress. That is all the advice I can offer. Hope this helps!
