What is the greatest difficulty in becoming a writer?

Hi! I am curious to know about what is the greatest challenge that a writer would face? Besides, do they face any great challenge when they choose writer as their profession?

Hi. It’s a good question. When I first started writing someone told me to write what I know. I didn’t follow that advice for a long time. I wasn’t sure what it specifically meant. But when I finally got it my writing really flourished. I finally figured out that I had to connect my heart to my head and my head to my heart and that’s when my words took flight. You can do this writing fiction or non-fiction. Believe in something. Believe in yourself. Trust yourself. It’s powerful. Good luck.

I think there are 2 major challenges to become a writer :
1. The topic that you would to write on
2. The language and how to present the topic in a way to attract the audience
On the first challenges, you may need to see more and read more to be inspired. Also, you may need to do the research on the topic / idea you have come up. This may have a lot of preparation work to do.
For the 2nd one, practice makes perfect. Firstly, you can consider to attend some writing courses. On the other hand, you can write more. You can consider to publish it online. The comments from the audiences could help you to improve.
