How can I, someone with no professional experience, but has been playing for 13 years and actively training get exposure with the national team?

Your first step is explore USA Cricket organization. Usacricket.org.
Find out which teams are local to you and if they have trials or scouting program where you can show your talent.
Don't limit yourself to US only, West Indies is another option for you too.

Cricket is growing in the USA and there is no shortage of talent in the USA. I'd suggest building your statistics and using that to put your case forward at https://www.usacricket.org. You can also explore Canada and the Caribbean and try to explore avenues to get into CPL. CPL will surely take you to the national level.
