How manageable is it to double major in forensic psych and criminology?

I am thinking about double majoring in forensic psychology and criminology/justice studies and i'm not sure if the workload would be too much. I want to be able to do criminal investigations out of college.

It is doable, but not necessary. Perhaps instead of majoring in CJ, do a minor in CJ. Another option is take a couple of CJ classes to get some exposure to it, but a degree in CJ is not a requirement to go into the field.

I suggest getting a degree in something you can use outside of law enforcement. It will help you with your investigations because you will already have advanced knowledge and skills in another field, which will give you an advantage in your investigation.

In my opinion the forensic psychology is the stronger degree and in most agencies you don't get anything extra for having two. If you're motivated with school focus on the advanced degree instead of two associates or two bachelor's get one bachelors and then a masters. Once you get a masters agencies won't really care about having two bachelors and having a masters you'll beat out competition with two bachelors.
