#CV23How do I get a freelancer?
I graduated from the university last year October and ever since then have been looking at working as a freelancer but I could not get any, I would really appreciate if I can get a guidance on that please.

I would still reach out to my university and see if there are any career counselors or someone in that field that could still be of assistance to you. Also have tried to use indeed updating a resume and posting in that field could lead to a good start.

Freelancing is also sometimes called being self employed.
Your degree is a good start. Find what you are good at & take it from there.
Find a market for your skills. Get out there, talk to people you know, offer your skills to them & people they might know.
Word of mouth is the best advertising & promoting that ever existed.
Do NOT do as I have seen so many do. So often many think that they are worth more than they really are. Look at what others are asking for the same skills you have to offer & go slightly below the average.
Not a lot however. That's a major red flag. that says maybe your work is subpar.
Ex: Many Handymen charge around $ 20-$35 per hour labor regardless of what it is. I think my time (labor) is worth $12-$18 per hour based on the job. Installing a ceiling fan is different than installing a surround tub & shower combo. If I think it will take me 2 hours to complete a job then I bid around $30 labor. If I get the job & it takes me 3 hours to complete the job then it's on me.
