How can you take many Ideas, when im only a sophmore with no job and barley any money? How can I be a buisnessowner of a fashion industry with no ideas or references to work with?
- 10th Grade Sophmore, from a small private school

I always tell people to do what you love. I understand you have some barriers, but we all do. That doesn't mean it's impossible, just a little harder. You're in 10th grade, so you are almost old enough to work a part time job, if not then try cleaning people's yards or doing odd jobs to make some extra money. If you truly want to have a fashion business, making the extra effort to make it happen, won't be daunting or frustrating because you know you're working towards a goal.
Stop looking at your situation from what you don't have and start looking at it from what you do have. You have a gift, perseverance, and your youth. Figure out what you want to do in the fashion industry and start doing it. Look at videos that will help you build your skills, then search for volunteer work. Be creative in your approach, try different ways of problem solving.
Does your school offer classes or part time jobs that interest you? What about college or junior college, what opportunities do they have for the youth? Do you have a counselor?
If all else fails, just build your own niche or industry. Get you a drawing book, that costs about $5 at the store "5 and Below" and start drawing. Although, you will run into obstacles, you can still overcome those obstacles, just be creative.

Look into an organization called NFTE. They work with students on business plans and have a conception to help you focus your thoughts.
If NFTE is not available where you are, I’m sure you can find a similar organization (like SCORE) or even seek support from a business teachers or entrepreneurship club.
