Hi Lexie, the only formal education required is a high school diploma. Though some flight attendants may have college degrees, it's not needed. In addition to a high school diploma, most airlines look for customer service experience. Just an extra note...I know of someone who worked for TSA & then decided to apply for a flight attendant position. They quickly got the flight attendant job. They told me that their TSA position gave them the combined customer service & airline security experience highly valued nowadays by airlines.

Hi Lexie! Are you looking to pursue a career as a flight attendant?
While you are welcome to attend a flight attendant school, it's not a must-have! You can still become a flight attendant without formal education.
Starting your journey with regional airlines like SkyWest could be a great move. They're not as competitive, making it an excellent place for your flight attendant career to take off.
Here's a handy link that shows you what SkyWest looks for in a flight attendant:

Once you check off those requirements, just fill out the application and get ready for the group interview.
I think they offer Q&A sessions before the group interview. It's a great chance to chat with flight attendants and learn more about this exciting career, even if you don't meet all the requirements just yet.
