To become a nurse, you need to earn a license. There are two kinds of nursing licenses:
LPN - licensed practical nurse
RN - registered nurse
The license takes 1-3 years to earn in college. Then you are a nurse and can work at a hospital, in a clinic, or patient homes.

The first step is to get information from the vocational / technical schools ( for CNA/LPN) and colleges (RN) you are interested in . If possible , make an appt with one their counselors . You will also need to check if there is someone available to assist you with financial aid planning. When you call or go by , have a list of these questions. ( That helps me).
