Brendon,

Nothing is boring and if you find that it is, maybe that part of construction should NOT be your field. There are many different fields and trades within construction. If your bored, then things become non-fun and if its your career, that will make for a miserable career. I don't care if you sit behind a desk, work outside in all types of weather or indoors in small spaces with tons of dust, you have to enjoy what you are doing because you will be doing it for many years.

I hope this helps.

There's no such thing as "boring parts" when it comes to the exciting world of construction! Building construction is all about creating something new and valuable on pieces of land, also known as real estate.

Imagine being a construction worker, part of a team that brings structures to life. While many tasks involve hands-on, physical work at the construction sites, there are also many roles that don't require you to be on-site.

Let's talk about the different types of construction. For instance, Type V includes smaller buildings like cozy family homes, inviting restaurants, or compact office spaces. Even quaint hotels fall under Type V. The materials used for this type can be anything that's approved by the code, but wood is a common choice. So, there's a lot of room for creativity and innovation in this field!

it gets a little boring if work slows down, but 98% of the time I'm constantly moving. I've been a finish carpenter for 18 years, and while I never imagined doing it for a living, it's my calling. I love what I do, and being able to create something for a customer and exceed their expectations is 100% worth the hard work. I learn something every single day, and I like sharing my knowledge with others. I think I've read that 2% of the worlds population can do what I do, and that makes me feel pretty special. if it gets boring, you're not being challenged or challenging yourself enough. I'm rarely ever bored. lol
