What an exciting career choice ! Although it could be a wonder about how to begin this awesome career, there are definite steps that you can take that will lead you behind the wheel at races ! Your first step would be to spend a lot of time at your local racetrack, buy a Pitt Pass and talk to the people in the Pitt because they could be very important contacts.
The next thing that you can do is to go to Racing School. You will learn it all and be able to get your special license that will enable you to compete. In order to drive in a race, you will need to obtain sponsors. This will involve heavy networking and promoting yourself. You will put your business person hat on and read about tips on how to obtain racing sponsorship.
