Becoming an icon isn’t necessarily about fame. Fame comes from first making a positive impact and the ability to influence others, have them engaged in meaningful work and passion. It also stems from being the best version of you and taking your passion to purpose. Think about what is important to you and how you’d like to contribute or change something and work on ways to make it happen. Also make a list of the skills and interests you have that can help foster those ideas into a plan. When people see your effort, honesty, and devotion to a subject such as teaching piano, addressing animal cruelty and how to help, or maybe new ways and inventions to recycle, sincerity is what grabs their attention. Effort is what keeps it. Plus, attitude and authenticity is everything in your presentation, so make it positive in a way that stands out. Make sure you’re not simply regurgitating what’s already known. The internet has increased the fight to fame and can be very competitive, so it may take multiple tries and different tactics to gain traction, which means stepping out of your comfort zone. If it’s just the fame you want without the work, people will see that and bring a negative light to your name, so keep that in mind.
