Hello, Bianca !

You are correct. All colleges do offer services on campus and some more than others. You would have to find out which college offers what services and keep a notebook with the information so you can compare the colleges that you are interested in.

Most campuses offer Academic Counseling, Financial Aid Assistance, a Career Center and Student Services Center, a Clinic for Health Care, Scholarships for current students, Housing in the form of Dorms, a dining hall, and a book store. Those are the usual across the board services on a campus. There are many more and each campus is very different in what they offer so you would have to make a list of the campuses you are interested in and read their websites.

Please do not hesitate to ask more questions about specific colleges as well as which services you may be interested in finding in a college. Best wishes to you in all you do !

Hi Bianca!

This is absolutely true. Depending on the college, you may get different support services. Some things to look for are financial aid and scholarships to help pay for classes, tutoring, academic advisors, food and housing assistance, career workshops, student mentorship clubs, and even on-campus student jobs!

Another thing to consider is your location. Will you have to travel far to get to class on time? Some schools offer vouchers or discounts for public train and bus systems. And of course, your major! Some colleges specialize in technology, others may have a more well-rounded collection of degrees you can pursue. There may even be scholarships for your major, which is always a plus!

Always ask questions or go on the school's website. The more you know, the easier it is to choose a school you like. I hope this helps, best of luck!
