What are the best organizations to become involved with when persuing a nursing degree?

I would look into seeing if there is a university alumni association that offers networking for current students with alumni in your field. Go to an advising session and see if any advisors have connections with those in the field who may be willing to do a shadow. Prior to doing your clinicals, like Raj, I suggest looking into any volunteering programs with any hospitals in the area.

I would suggest you may want to work in a hospital. To get started, you may want to volunteer in a hospital. And this way, you may get an opportunity to get a summer job or part time job in the hospital which will help enhance your experience and will give you a better chance of getting a job after you graduate

Do some research on what type of nursing degree you want to achieve. Network with nurses that can advise you on their experiences. Network with students going for nursing degrees that are close to finishing for advise on what they did.
