Do colleges find taking AP classes in high school more impressive than taking actual college classes?

I am currently a junior at a middle college high school and was curious as to if that sets me apart from others. Would colleges prefer that I took AP classes over college classes or vice versa? Do they even care at all? #college #classes

They love both. What they like to see is upward progress, personal challenge academically and if you 'stick with it'

Both are excellent college preparation. I would suggest signing up for and paying for the dual credit class. Then at the end of the year, I would suggest still taking the AP exam. That way, you can look at your university's policy toward these credits and choose whichever is the most favorable.
