Hello Ally,

This is such a great career path. My younger brother has autism, and speech pathology was life-changing for him.

Here's some advice for your question... if you plan to work in the school systems with children, I would recommend trying to minor or maybe even double major in Elementary Education. Some of what you learn in these programs are how to work in the school system itself, which could be helpful for your career aspirations. This will also look better on a job application, as you'll gain some experience working in schools through the programs.
