Can i be a biologist in Indianan. How much will i make. What else will i have to know.

i am looking for a job that allows me to be a biologist that study all types of DNA and animals, plants, and virus. I would like to look into selective breeding and more. #biologist. #biology

One option is to be a biologist who works at a university or college. Go to the websites of universities near you and look for their biology department web pages. You can often find a list of all their faculty and staff who work in biology. You can start doing biology research at universities as an undergraduate. Then you can attend graduate school for a masters or PhD if you want. You could become a lab technician or a professor.

If you are interested in selective breeding there may be agriculture companies who would hire a biologist to work for them. So that is an option as well.

I searched for Biologist, but you may want to use some other position titles as well, depending on your interests. According to these statistics, the average pay is $68,000 in Indiana for biologists. You can find a lot of other information on that page as well about employment trends, qualification requirements, and other data.
