These jobs are currently in very high demand, which is great news for you! You most likely will be able to choose the state you want to work in. But generally speaking, California on the west coast, Texas in central, and North Carolina on the east are all very solar-friendly states right now.

There are also a lot of states with very little solar investment currently but are predicted to see huge amounts of growth over the next ten years. Also good news!

The best states are currently where their building the most solar systems - right now thats along the west coast and in the southwest,

Many of the larger solar systems companies sponsor training courses at local community colleges and technical schools and then hire employees out of those programs - a quick internet search can help to find any of these programs near where you'd like to live!
