If you are just looking for average salary, download file from google for A+ certification where you can learn about the computer and devices and work as a network technician or computer technician which you earn a pretty fair amount of money, then you can concentrate on getting in deep in IT.

To get started you can begin with a CCNA course , get yourself updated with the basics of computer networking. Do the certification for CCNA and then look out for a job opportunity. I know it is difficult to find one as a fresher but you can start with a small job where pay may be less but exposure can be good where you actually learn and implement what all you studied. This is how i began with, this really gives a clear picture of what technology you can focus on in the future as well.

It is very important to understand as a fresher or as a college grad pay is not everything in the initial days, as if you learn good things pay is going to definitely rise if you prove yourself. So keep learning , which should never end.

Keep going there are no boundaries, sky is never a limit for those who want to learn and grow. Hardwork Hardwork Hardwork. There will be days ahead to do smart work , unless you reach some height you have to do hardwork.

I would recommend that you take up a CCNA in R&S. There are both paid options as well as ways to prepare for it through free content available on the the many blogs on the internet. there are also some Youtube channels you could start from. Here is my personal favourite -

The exam is not exactly 'cheap' but passing it will help you immensely if you ever seek a job at Cisco or any of its many partner Companies. As the largest market share holder, Cisco devices are almost everywhere and your certification will certainly help you no matter where you go.

There are many IT course which could help you get the job and so called "average salary" however, keep in mind that you must justify the learning to get that. Hence, first choose the path or interest in which you want to develop your carrier and then look for the course offered.

I believe that you must have industry level experience with certification. if you are already at associate level, so you must start learning to profession level certification, but carry on taking hands on experience of associate level.

Try to learn and switch job as per your knowledge and capability. But, be careful with very frequent job change. It will pour bad impression on employer about you. Also, you must be sticking to somewhere and give time to learn anything new.

There are multiple certification you could do to start your career in IT, first choose your area of interest.

In terms of networking, I can suggest you to complete CCNP certification and get some knowledge on SDWAN and easily you will get a job in networking field.

If you want to be developer you can start with Python and Java.
If you wanted to be both developer and administrator then you can start with DevOps tracks which is upfront in the current industry.
If you are not good at development domain then you can go with CCNA-R&S, CCNA-Security, MCSA or RHCSA.

The course by itself can introduce you some technology. You have to get some experience with at least some labs also.

I did the Networking Academy https://www.netacad.com/ from Cisco, 15 years ago. 10 months lenght and that changed my life. Today they have other topics, not olny netowkring, as automation, development, operating system.

You can make very short trainings, most of them 5 days for some vendors that can give you very interesting knowledge. But I have to say to you, a certification is another step that can give you more visibility into the market and better chance to get a job with a good/average salary.

You can take the CISSP exam without any experience, while not recommended, and then you'll have 6 years to complete your 5 years of industry experience. After that, you officially submit your endorsement to become an official CISSP, and then you can start using those letters after your name.

In my opinion, networking had its time but now it is not the place where you can more easily get a better salary. Let me give you a little historical review. In the 90s there was a time where we need to create a vast internet network worldwide and there were few professionals, in that time you got good salaries. Now, with a large network established, network engineers are not so so required as before. After networks, we needed professionals to create the infrastructure on top of that network, in that time, getting server admin certifications were the best-paid role. Now with a large infrastructure already deployed, we need professionals more focused on deploying content and securing the information. Therefore my advice would be to get certified either in Cybersecurity (CISSP) or any Cloud-native vendor like Google, Amazon, or Azure. Cybersecurity however will require you more time and dedication than to be a Cloud engineer in order to have a better salary.
