does your school offer courses in cryptography?

I want to take a course in cryptography. I plan on doing so within the next two years. I have some college history, but not much. I was wondering what some of the pre-requisite's are for this course. #education #chemistry #calculus #cryptography #bio-technology #pre-algebra #trigonometry #career #career-counseling #college

Abe’s Answer

Cryptography relies a lot on number theory, and modern algebra, and a lot of applications in computing so learning about these ahead of taking the college course would help you a lot. I would recommend searching online for some of the tutorials on these subjects, as well as cryptography, and if you can, find a good book that teaches you the foundations of the subject. Once you're comfortable with these; you will be ready for an advanced course.
