Julie’s Answer

You definitely want to stay on campus in the dorms at least 1 year so you can get the full college experience. If someone's offering to pay for you, take it! Living off campus can be fun with your own space and all that, but you won't be able to take advantage of some things that are offered if you were living in the dorms. Wait until junior or senior year, then move off campus.

Emily’s Answer

I would recommend staying on campus for at least your freshman year. It is definitely part of the college experience as Julie stated above. You can meet more new people, get to classes easily, have access to techs, etc. There are definitely cons for living in a dorm, a big one being its price. Once you get the experience, you can then decide whether to stay or move off campus.

Pamela’s Answer

I recommend staying on campus for at least your freshman year. Although it will be extremely hard the first semester. My advice is to push through the periods of loneliness, seconding guessing your college choice, issues with making friends. All of these challenges usually resolve themselves around the 2nd semester of freshman year.
