Can someone further explain the importance of visiting the potential colleges that a student will apply to?

I was blessed enough to visit two college campuses and see what it was really like aside from what was mentioned in the brochures. I would love for an expert to expand on the importance of going on college tours for students unsure of what college to attend. #college #student #colleges #college-tours

It is good to visualize your life in the future. They would tell you about the campus, student life, extra curricular activities, and the equipment in place. Also, you would be able to talk to some faculty and staff.

Some schools even have student led tours. Brochures and online information will always show the college in the best possible light. Seeing yourself and possibly even talking to students will give you a real feel for the place.
