Any 4 year university should be able to provide you with all of the premed requirements (1 year biology, 1 year inorganic chemistry, 1 year organic chemistry + labs, physics, calculus, and biochemistry).

Hi Haley, In order to become a surgeon you need to go to medical school after college. In college, you need to take pre-med classes like biology or chemistry, but you can choose whatever college major you'd like. For example, you can do a Spanish major and do the pre-med classes and be accepted in medical school. In college, there are extracurricular activities you can do and experiences to get you ready for medical school such as work in a lab and go on a volunteer medical trip. Studying for the MCAT exam is important too! Good luck on becoming a surgeon!
