The airlines are hiring a lot right now; so now is a great time to become a flight attendant. Getting a job with an airline is a lot like any other job; apply online. Your application should stand out if you answer all the questions with well thought out answers. They will more likely consider you if you have prior experience with customer service or have experience of (or have knowledge of) first aid, cpr, or have work as a medical assistant. Airlines want to know that you are punctual, reliable, well groomed, are able to follow company rules, are committed to safety, are fit enough to move around the airplane. A high school diploma is sufficient, but you will stand out with a four year degree. If you are wondering what airlines are out there, Google—Regional Airlines or Major Airlines US. Carefully follow the application instructions. You can expect a phone interview and possibly a follow up in person. Good luck.
