I have a high school diploma and a college degree. From reading between the lines of your question it sounds like you are considering dropping out of school and getting a GED. You don't mention your grade in school but if you're a junior or senior, stick it out. It's only for another few terms at the most. If you do opt for your GED do you know what type of work you want to do instead of going to school? What about the social aspects of not being in school? I hope you think about this, if YOUR possible dropping out is your reason for this question.

Personally, I have a high school diploma. As a GED is an equivalent to a high school diploma, these are separate routes for individuals to take. For some, a GED might be the right route for them, while others a high school experience.
