Some of have a green thumb. Your question depends on your definition of 'good'. You want to work for a company or have your own farm/ranch. You can start today with self-study and a small garden plot. Some books I'll recommend:
The Unsettling of America by Wendell Berry
Folks, This Ain't Normal by Joel Salatin
Locally Laid by Lucie B Amunden
All these lean toward self-sustaining, small operations, and issues with our current way of doing thing.
