Applying for a job can be very overwhelming if you don't know where to start. First, make sure that you have a great resume to show employers. Most people use templates on Word to create their resume. Second, know what position you want to apply for. When you decide which position you want, add it to your resume under Career Objective.
Now, you are ready to find a job. Look for employers who are hiring for the position you want to obtain. There are many ways to find employment. One way is doing a Google search for jobs near you. Another way is to download all the job apps. Such as, LinkedIn and Indeed. I would also recommend to just go to the business yourself and ask if they are hiring. By going down yourself it shows to employers that you are genuinely interested in their business.
If you are still in college, ask about any internships. Most colleges have job fairs too. Even if you don't see anything that will work for you, you are getting your name out there. I hope this helps! I wish you the best of luck in your job search!

I am a big advocate of LinkedIn. It's the largest networking site and a one stop shop. You can search for groups within your interest areas to network with and gain networking access to employees and companies you find interesting. There are job postings on LinkedIn that you can filter by your job interests as well and apply directly to. Best of luck!

Being proactive is the key to finding a job. If you are still in school, check job boards relevant to your field of study. They are usually posted on campus (business center perhaps).
You want to use all the tools at your disposal. Google and other search engines are your best friends here. You can utilize them to research open positions or find the job postings for your desired company (if you have one). While doing this, create a Linked In account and search there, as well. You will be able to tailor your views and searches based on your skills/experience/interests. Indeed and Glassdoor are also good resources for researching open positions, as well.
Personally, I am a proponent of in-person networking and learning. Look for career fairs in your area and bring your resume. Even if you are not experienced, you will be able to gain transferable skills and knowledge that will help you on the journey. You will be able to speak with professionals and ask questions in real time, while getting a glimpse into what employers are looking for. Pay attention to details and be open to failure. You may not get a call back from a contact at a career fair, but you will have gained experience for the next go around. Good luck!

The best and most simple way to start is to just Google search. Think about what field you want and just research what is out there. For example, if you are looking to work in Finance, search "Finance jobs near me", or "entry level finance jobs". In terms of apps or websites, LinkedIn is a great resource. Some job postings on LinkedIn allow for Easy Apply, which only requires the tap of a button. In that case however, make sure your LinkedIn is up to date. Indeed is another great website to look at and it allows you to filter by location, experience level, etc.

Depends on the job but I feel like I had more success with Linkdin then any other job site. I applied at indeed for over 200 different positions and never heard back I got job offers at Linkdin within 3 or 4 apps
