In Construction BCT touches all phases of Building. It is a good area to become extremely familiar with. Find the technology in the area you want to work and have experience with the technology that will be employed in that sector. Look around at the job sector you might be interested in and investigate the technologies. the technologies might give you insight into where you may perform best. If the tech suits your knowledge, chances are you will do better there than at a job who's tech is less known to you. Look first at the type of technology, then at some Firms/Govt's/Businesses that employ that type of technology. Remember to learn the basics for all businesses and then specialize when you find what you like. A company tends to hire people who's goals align with the corporation and not hire those contrary folks.

Building construction technology is crucial in today’s world due to its impact on efficiency, productivity, and safety. Key advancements include:
Robotics and Automation: Industrial robotics are incorporated into the construction industry, performing tasks like bricklaying, concrete pouring, and 3D-printing structures. This improves construction speed and accuracy and reduces labor costs.
Internet of Things (IoT): IoT changes how we interact with our physical environment. Sensors embedded in construction equipment and structures provide real-time data on various factors, enhancing monitoring and management.
Building Information Modeling (BIM): BIM allows for the creation and management of digital representations of buildings and infrastructure, playing a pivotal role in the digital transformation of the architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) sector.
Data Management: Construction technology helps manage large amounts of data about buildings and assets, aiding in planning, budgeting, operations, and new projects.
In essence, technology is vital in the construction industry. It enhances safety and efficiency, saves manual effort, and is a worthwhile investment for construction companies.
