I am a high school student and I was wondering if I could go to a pre law program in a collage during the summer if so how can I do that?

Narjis choosing to pursue a career in law is a big step, so you should take advantage of every possible opportunity to learn more about practicing law. Attending a summer law program for high school students might be just the thing. Deciding to participate in a summer program is a good opportunity to immerse yourself in one of your major interests. Hopefully, you will leave that program knowing whether you want to pursue that interest in college or as a possible career. Overall, you can network and gain some skills while still having a fun summer. Depending on when you start your search for summer programs, some deadlines might be quickly approaching or already passed. However, don’t be discouraged because there’s plenty of time and opportunities to learn more about law. Be sure to stay on top of the deadlines that are still open so you can ensure a spot at your next summer program. Remember, the earlier you apply, the better your chances at acceptance are.
GEORGETOWN PRE-LAW COLLEGE PREP
Start your application today to participate in the Georgetown Pre-Law College Prep Program. It’s completely online and asynchronous, meaning that you can learn from home and have fun this summer at the same time. Get your first look at a Georgetown education while gaining new skills and mentors. The program offers 1-week, 2-week, and 4-week intensive sessions spread throughout the summer. So, don’t be discouraged if the deadlines below have passed because only I'm only listing the first sessions below.
Eligibility: Ages 13 and up
Cost: $1,495
Application deadline: 4/30, 5/14, or 6/11
Camp dates: May 7 – June 4,
May 21 – June 4, or June 18 – June 25

NSLC LAW & ADVOCACY
Improve your law skills at the NSLC’s Law & Advocacy Program, where you’ll learn courtroom techniques and professional strategies while working beside practicing attorneys. The program also includes tours of local law schools such as Georgetown University and Yale to prepare you for your future. Students will also receive leadership training through interactive lectures and workshops. They even have the opportunity to receive college credit.
Eligibility: Grades 9 – 12
Cost: $3,795 – $3,895
Application deadline: Rolling admission
Camp dates: (Georgetown) June 17 – June 25, June 29 – July 7, July 12 – July 20, July 24 – August 1, (Yale) June 24 – July 2, July 6 – July 14, or July 17 – July 25

I am so happy to know of your interest in getting a head start on studying Law ! That is an awesome venture that will give you a fine foundation for your further studies once you enroll in college and on your way to Law School.
Now, there are some pre-law programs in South Carolina, but you will have to find out if they are held during the summer. There are four colleges that offer this for high school students and they are Columbia College, the University of South Carolina, Midlands Technical College and Newberry College. My first suggestion is to speak with someone at your high school to find out how dual enrollment works at your school and then find out how it works at the college you choose. There's no specific information about whether the colleges offer it in the summer so that's another thing you could ask about.
By some chance the pre-law programs are not offered during the summer, do not worry because there are some places you can inquire about for volunteer work or any other experience around Law. You can contact the American Bar Association and also contact the Pre-Law Advising Network for the latest information and resources they may have for you. The University of South Carolina School of Law does offer high school students an experience and learning and the Joseph F. Rice School of Law provides programs and events for high school students, including courtroom simulations. Call or visit any of the mentioned colleges to get the latest information and I have left some links for you below to websites.
You can also seek online experiences in the form of courses at Coursera which has pre-law for high school students. Law Preview also has a course to prepare you. Search online for more opportunities that would suit what you are looking for. Also explore Class Central for their courses connected to Law.
Once you inquire at the various colleges directly, they will inform you as to how to go about it all. The information is very specific for each college so it's best to check with the colleges and then you can decide which opportunity you want to choose.
