Being a lawyer is good if you like working long hours reading, researching and writing. It's hard work and it takes a lot of difficult academic hurdles to over come before someone can say, "I am a lawyer."
You skipped a few steps. You must complete high school successful, attend four years of college or university and earn a bachelor's degree. Then you are ready to take the Law School Admissions Test and apply to the law schools you're interested in. There may be a lot of competition for slots, so if you don't have family connections, you're probably not going to get into Yale or Harvard Law School. Study hard and good luck!
