I am a Grad Student looking to find Internships within the Healthcare Technology Field. Would anyone have any recommendations on companies/organizations that would be great to apply for Summer 2025 or Fall 2025?

Hey! Healthcare Technology space is super exciting and booming. You didn't mention where you're located or what your grad degree is, so I'll keep my answer broad. I would start by thinking about what type of technology you're most excited about — you can look into the different types (such as telehealth, medical devices, wearables, electronic health records, cloud computing solutions (like industry specific CRM solutions) and more by searching Google or ChatGPT.
I would also search for hot/growing companies in that space you're interested in. Those are more likely to have openings on their website or LinkedIn.
Then, I would reach out to people on LinkedIn (preferably in your network) who have roles that are of interest to you and ask for informational interviews to learn more about their role and experience with the company. Their insights will help you understand if that's what you really want to do and if so, they might be able to help you with further connections or even provide a referral.

Hello Jalilah,
There are so many great company's in the medical industry that you could apply to for a summer internship. Since I don't know where you are located, it would be difficult to make a suggestion. I would start on ZipRecruiter where many of the company's post their openings. You could also look on LinkedIn for intern opportunities.

I wish you much luck and great success in your future!

Jalilah,
You have received some good advice. I would add that you should pick companies that you are interested in, reach out to their directors of the specific lab, and start a dialog. They are all looking for internship, they just are limited in finding them.
