Hi there! Being a microbiologist is all about exploring the amazing world of tiny microbes. We start with a sample from a patient, like urine, fluid from a knee joint, a tissue piece from surgery, or a wound that won't heal. Then, we test it to find out what little critters are there. There are a few steps to discover the microbes. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I've been a medical lab technician for a long time. Even though it was tough at first, I learned it and still love it.
