How do I avoid going into debt after going to college (RPI), while not having to take out a loan?
Currently I'm a senior in highschool with 2 months away from graduating, and I'm worrying if I should go to my dream school (RPI) even if I have to go into debt.

Hi Giancarlo! It’s completely valid to feel torn between your dream school and financial concerns but know that you have options. Start by reaching out to RPI’s financial aid office to explore scholarships, grants, and work-study opportunities, they often go further than you think. Consider starting at a lower-cost school and transferring later, or taking a gap year to work and save if it means protecting your financial future. Following your dreams doesn’t mean ignoring reality. It means finding creative, resilient ways to get there. No matter the path, your ambition and drive will get you to where you want to be.
