Hi Eli,
Great question! Starting college can feel a bit overwhelming with so much to do and so many new faces to meet.
Give yourself some time to get used to the college routine. Your first job is to attend your classes—you're paying for them, after all! Next, make sure you set aside enough time for studying outside of class. Find what works best for you. If you need a quiet place, maybe head to the library at the same time each day.
At first, try to keep your friend group small as you adjust. There's plenty of time to join clubs and meet new people who share your interests. Build a strong group of friends slowly, as they can be a great support for you.
Lastly, make sure to have fun in your free time! Just keep it balanced—too much of anything isn't good.
Hope this helps!
