Hello Benjamin,
To give surety to your future career, firstly, you have to invest in yourself. Start learning things you aspire to (like engineering etc), follow education courses, workshops or conferences. Read, read and read books. Join communities online or in person where you are able to learn from your peers or elders.
Then, specialize yourself in a specific domain. That domain must be something that you LOVE, I mean your passions. Write, read and listen more, speak less.
Heighten your general knowledge.

Thank you for your question. Firstly, have you thought of what careers you have interest. If you do something you have interest, you can do it good and be success.
Below are my suggestions:
1. Think about what you have interest, eg your hobbies, favourite subjects, etc and identify the related careers
Eg if you have interest in maths, would you like to be an accountant, engineer, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc
If you like music, would you like to be an accountant, engineer, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor school career counselor, your parents, etc
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges
6. Upon graduation, you can establish a long term career development plan with short term milestones. Review it on regular basis and adjust if necessary.
