Besides what is taught in school, are there any recommendations that could help with communication, or learning and improving soft skills that a teacher should have?

Get involved by volunteering, substitute teaching, or student teaching in real classrooms. This is a great way to learn and grow! Watch how teachers manage the class, handle different behaviors, and cater to students with diverse needs.

Dive into understanding how children grow in their thinking, social skills, emotions, and physical abilities during early and middle childhood. Knowing these developmental milestones will help you teach in ways that suit their age and needs.

Create lessons that are fun and varied to keep students engaged. Use assessments to see how they’re doing and adjust your teaching accordingly. Add visuals, movement, and hands-on activities to make learning exciting. Set clear expectations and routines, and always use positive reinforcement to encourage students.
