Which part of Occupational Therapy (OT) school is NOT useful in preparing recent graduate students for professional practice?

I am a senior that is ready to get my bachelor degree in Health Science with a concentration in Pre-Occupational Therapy. Anytime you look up graduate programs it lists off great things they offer you to learn, but they can be a bit biased so is there anything that is lacking in these OT programs that I may need to be aware of? Is there anything they do not teach you that you will have to deal with in the profession after graduating?

Hi! I am a pediatric occupational therapist. Graduate programs could never teach you everything that experience in the field will teach you. Depending on the program they may lack direct hands on experience i.e. teaching you specific interventions. Trust the process and know the most you will learn about the profession is going to come from direct experience in the field and or fieldwork. You got this!
