Early in career, I would recommend choosing a career that provides the most exposure to senior leaders, which will strengthen your ability to expand your network, and the ability to gain the most skills. You’ll find that earlier in your career, leaders are willing to take more time to invest in your development. Now is the time to focus on foundational skills while keeping an eye on your passions and figuring out ways to incorporate your passions into perhaps an alternative revenue stream.

Career choices are hard, regardless of age or stage of life! I personally think you need a combination of passion and stability. Find something that’s stable to help fulfill personal goals and aspirations but in any role, determine what excites you! It could be learning new things, being in fast paced environments, making an impact by solving complex problems, cross collaborating across diverse teams, the list can go on!
