Is it possible for a mechanical engineering BTech student to get internship after he completes his UG degree in India??

I am a 2nd year student, Pursuing BTech in mechanical engineering in India.
I am very much a enthusiast of cars& bikes, and have decent amount of knowledge in it.
I am not sure whether I will be able to get an internship during college days, so I wanna know whether is it possible to get an internship after the completion of the degree

Hi Sharath,

While you can get internship during college as well as after college, the latter might prove to be more fruitful in terms of learning and career growth.

I would recommend that you already start researching potential projects/companies/start-ups which suit your interests.
After you have that list, you can:
- Get to know more about the orgs - Their mission, goals, workings etc. You can also start networking with respective individuals and execs.
- Gauge what skillsets are required and attune your remaining tenure to acquire those skills
- Start Cold Contacting them explaining your current intent as well as intent to join them full time after your graduation. This helps to already build a relationship with the org and increase your selection chances

Hi Sharath, my best suggestion is to research and find requirements for the places you are interested in making your internship. I know here in US, depending in the employer, after graduation you can still apply for internship within a timeframe after your graduation date.
