I am a high school student who is hoping to pursue this career and just want to broaden my horizons on people in the industry.

Hi there! That's a great question. Start by thinking about the types of food you enjoy and the cuisines you're interested in cooking. Personally, I've discovered some of my favorite chefs through cooking shows. Watching these programs gave me a sense of what it's like to work in a top kitchen and see chefs in action. I also enjoy exploring cookbooks and learning about chefs' journeys into fine dining, as well as their skills and the courses they took. Good luck!
