How long should it take to become a Physician?

Hi Myles,


I used to work in a medical school. It generally takes 4 years of undergraduate studies and then 4 years of medical school. After you graduate medical school, you will be physician. At that point you will have anywhere from 3-7 years of training in what is called a residency and fellowship, all depending on your program.
