I really want to be a Registered Nurse. What college would be good for me?

I want to go to a college close to home so I can become a # #nurse and still be close to my family. Also, I'm looking for the best option.

Hi Cameron,
I am on the verge of retirement and I have spent my career working for community Health Netwerk in Indianapolis. I did not graduate from ivytech, but I know a lot of nurses who did. I think you should look into ivytech. They have a campus at Madison Indiana, which is close to Versailles. Ivytech grads are well thought of, and at least the last time I looked ivytech is a much less expensive alternative to the state universities. I believe it is a good solid school and will teach you all you need to know to start on your path. Good luck to you! Ivy tech.edu

Reading through the list there are a few schools in Chicago which aren't too far from your profile address of Indiana. Spend some time researching schools, programs, and locations to see what would be the best fit for you and your family. After you have a short list of choices, go to each college's official website and read details to see what you like about each program. This will help you decide which ones you want to apply to. If you're willing to go to school a few hours drive from home that will give more options. If you want to be in-state there are other choices in the list as well such as Indiana University - Perdue
