Hi Angel,


The biggest most influence "thing" you need to know is ... You need to LOVE to do it.


If you love it, it won't seem like work, challenges won't stop you and hard will feel like a breeze. In anything you do in your life LOVE it first, put the hard work in and be consistent. Good things will follow.
You need to know that and the rest will come easy.
If that is to vague than ask a local chef if he Stages in his kitchen, this means you can work for a day for free in the kitchen. Most large hotels and convention centers stage, this will help you gauge if you will like the food industry. Remember it's hard and it's fast be ready and have a lot of fun!
