It depends how motivate you are, the more you learn the faster you’ll make..making a plan or writing a plan is the best thing to do..I been Plumbing for over 20 yrs...you never stop learning , I did Sevice and repair, new construction, run my own business..there is no limit to what you can accomplish sometimes you just need that push or some motivation.

To be successful in plumbing you need to do service work when starting work with no bids. Or large amount of out of pocket cost.
To make $100,000 profit takes about 3 years. You building a business not get short term income. Re investing in equipment, staff, tools. Vehicle is very important for growth.
If the question is career oriented and to make a salary of $100,000 would take about 12 years experience with 2 master plumbing licenses.
It is a great business because you are helping people in need and making great money.
I started at $12 an hour 5 years ago and made $80,000 last year. I am all in. Over time, on call and do advertising, sales, hiring and work fulltime doing service work.
