It all depends on what branch you are looking into, as well as what your goal is, are you wanting to enlist or get commissioned? If you enlist, in almost any branch your job comes first and you are limited on how many courses you can take per year. It also depends on if you are home or deployed. You also are required to complete any military trainings prior to taking college classes, so you'll have to put a temporary hold on school while you complete those. I have seen someone be a full time student at a shore duty and maintain excellent job performance.

You are likely not going to have time for college during first year of your enlistment considering you have boot camp and specialty training school. After that, depending where you will be stationed and if there is college near by. I was able to find time to go to college full time while working full time as a Navy Hospital Corpsman stationed near a major city. So, it all depends on branch of military you will be join and where you are stationed.
