Both are two different paths and only similarity 24/7 working. Both required boldness and courage in day to day life because someone life in your hands. So first decide yourself what you want to become then get the details about that carrer

You first need to make up your mind as to what you want to do, since both the profession is about serving people. You need to dedicate yourself when it comes to taking up either of the profession.

To become IPS officer you need to write Civil Service exam which will be conducted by UPSC. Educational qualification to apply for that is a Graduation in any stream.To crack the preliminary and main UPSC exam you need to be updated yourselves with current affairs and most of the competitive exam questions.
