Hi Dayiana,

I love baking too! There are so many ways to answer this question but the most important one is already answered, you LOVE baking! Anytime you love something enough to put the hard work in to learn about it and how it works is key. Once your ready to branch out on your own finding somewhere to create your masterpieces is relatively easy.
Make sure you become an expert at your craft by getting a great education which will create a great foundation for you to grow your future business.
You need a great skill set before you can open your own bakery so work on the fun part first baking! Than start working on the hard stuff managing the financials, this will make sure you will make money!

It is wonderful that you have a passion for baking and want to leverage a business off of that. Opening your own shop will vary depending on where you are and the resources in that area. Your local Junior College or County may have information on starting a business and small business loans available to you.

Typically when starting your own business you may have to start with a smaller venue then work your way larger. If you check on the history for Sprinkle's or Kara's look at their history and how they got started that will give you a bit of an idea of how others grew their business.

I recommend you check with your local Junior college, City resources, County (there may be career counselors who can help you get started), State resources.

Wishing you a delicious future.

Yes, it does cost a lot of money to open your own bakery. You need to plan on rent, equipment, website, marketing expenses and raw goods expenses. However, if you are that passionate about it you should try it. There are angel investors that may be able to help you. The most important thing is location, location, location.
